1 Week at Mediu

Just a short note of comparison between my previous company and my current one.

Before (DapatVista):

• Normally it takes 30 minutes to reach to my office
• Parking free
• Social environment : More happening and funnier
• Got small CRT monitor + got problem with its brightness
• Programming: Content Provider….(do I have to say more?)
• Languange spoken: Malays
• Weekly Activities: Futsal or cinema maybe..
• Fav Mamak Stall: Rahman

 

After (Mediu):

• It takes only 3 minutes by vehicle (car) or 15 minutes by foot to reach my new office
• Got this stupid MBSA parking: RM4.00 (RM2 before lunch + RM2 after lunch)
• Social environment: Too serious and quiet. Still trying getting used to it
• Flat Screen monitor 19”
• Programming: More challenging (develop an enterprise system)
• Language spoken: Malays, English and Arab (Assalamualaikum je aku tau..ahaks!)
• Weekly Activities: Futsal only (as far as I know)
• Fav Mamak Stall: Pelita

p.s.s.s: Darn this weekend is so damn boring. Need to find myself a girl.

Boring…

Last week I just sent my resignation letter to my HR (Human Resource). Basically its one month notice and now I have to endure for 1 month more working at my current company. So what did I do today at my office?

• Playing Football Manager 2010 (FM 2010)
• Downloading comedy series, How I met your mother
• Playing Mafia Wars
• Facebooking

I’m so bored right now.

First of all I’m a huge fan of final fantasy. Been playing final fantasy since I’m 13 years old (Playstation era). Even this game is not a RPG (Role-Playing Game) that Square Enix usually develop, but I’m sure this game will blow my mind away.

Some interesting interview question that really f***ed me up..

Just got return from interview. Some company that developed a logistics import export system using .NET 2.0. Kind of interesting and they really got some tricky question there!

Some of the question that I want to share with everyone

 

Four people need to cross a rope bridge at night. Unfortunately, they only have one flashlight and its battery can only last for 17 minutes. The bridge is too dangerous to cross without a flashlight, and it’s only strong enough to support two people at any given time. Any party who crosses the bridge, 1 person must bring the flashlight back for the next party to cross(it’s too far to throw the flashlight over), until everyone crosses the bridge. Each person walks at a different speed, and any party must walk together at the rate of slower person’s pace.

1st person: 1 minute to cross the bridge

2nd person: 2 minute to cross the bridge

3rd person: 5 minute to cross the bridge

4th person: 10 minute to cross the bridge

 

How can all of them make it across in 17 minutes?

 

p.s: I’m sure I’ve heard this tricky question before. But darn! I cant remember the answer!

Morale Down

Lately, I’m being frustrated by something. I’m being de-motivated and really don’t know how to express my feeling. I’m sick and tired doing all the same thing over and over again. Sometimes I felt that my presence here not being noticed by anyone.

Even my girl don’t know about this. I really need ‘a new feng shui’. There’s someone told me that I need to be patient, because all of this is only a ‘step stone’ before being success. I’m taking her advice and tries to be patient.

Percutian di Shah Alam

Tersebut la kisah, pada suatu malam, di mana badan aku agak keletihan hasil dari perjalanan ke Ipoh (pergi dan balik)..Pada malam yang sunyi dan tenang, aku seperti biasa buat rutin yang biasa pada waktu malam iaitu baring-baring atas katil sambil surfing internet. Masa itu sebenarnya aku tengah layan cerita Jepun, ‘My Boss My Hero’..Tengah seronok dan khayal layan cerita ni, tiba-tiba lampu bilik aku berkelip. Tak sampai 5 saat selepas itu seluruh rumah aku terpadam, blackout.

Perghh memang bengang giler la. Cuak pun ada sebab memang gelap tak ingat dunia. Aku ni takde la penakut sangat, tapi disebabkan beberapa cerita seram yang berlaku di rumah aku ni, terasa meremang la gak bulu roma ni kalo dalam kegelapan sorang-sorang dalam bilik ni kan..

So selepas memberanikan diri, aku pun cepat-cepat la turun ke bawah, ke ruang tamu berpandukan cahaya handphone aku..nasib la masa tu mak dan ayah aku pun dah ada gak..so tak de la kecut perut sangat kat ruang tamu tu sorang-sorang kan..Pada mula nya kita orang ingat kan seluruh taman kena blackout, tapi biler aku check kat luar, rupa nya rumah kitaorang jer rupanya..Something is wrong here..

Tengok kotak fius semo ok jer..tak de pon suis melompat..Tak kan sebab tak bayar bil kot..even bukan aku yang bayar, tapi mustahil la sebab ni kan..kejam giler TNB potong time malam-malam..Jam menunjukkan pukul 11 malam.. and lilin plak tinggal seciput jer..letih tul la nak tido panas-panas cmni..

So apa nak buat ek? After family discussion, majoriti bersetuju untuk amik solution yang agak kurang munasabah..solution nye adalah…..

Yes! Family aku kaya giler! Bayar RM175 hanya untuk 8 jam tido di hotel yang sama daerah nye dengan rumah kami..Syiok giler percutian malam tu..Yang lagi best nye, aku end up tido kat lantai gak..hampeh tul la!

p.s: At least dapat gak aku free breakfast..x sia-sia aku sakit-sakit badan tido kat lantai

p.s.s: Sebenarnye family aku ni takde la mewah sangat..cuma nya ayah aku jer tak leh tido panas-panas, atas nasihat doktor..

p.s.s.s: Kita orang sampai umah mybe dlm kul 9:30 pagi..n yg best nye time tu elektrik dah ada! Baru rancang nak panggil TNB! So maksud nya, semalam takde elektrik sebab TNB sabotage kitaorang la kn..bkn sebab kotak fius or seangkatan dengan nya yang rosak..F**K you la TNB!!
